ANDERO ADAMSON
Andero has more than 15 years of
experience working in the education and
language policy sector. He has been
responsible for reforms, changes to
legislation, creation of development plans
for the Estonian language, designing
various support measures and initiatives to
strengthen the position of Estonian as a
state language and one of the EU official
languages.
Andero believes that language policy is a
horizontal policy area that affects all walks
of life including the labour market, general
education, HE and research, media etc – in
order to design effective policies that
support changes the most important things
are quality data, co-operation with target
groups and national interests.

PETRA LEA LÁNCOS
Petra (LLM, PhD, habil.,) is a full professor
and vice dean for international relations at
Pázmány Péter Catholic University in
Budapest, Hungary, where she teaches EU
law, academic writing, and interpreting. She
was a Junior Research Fellow at the Max
Planck Institute for Comparative Law and
Public International Law in Heidelberg from
2006 to 2007. From 2016 to 2019, she was a
Research Fellow at the Deutsches
Forschungsinstitut für öffentliche
Verwaltung in Speyer, Germany.
In addition to her academic career, she has
worked at the Office of the Commissioner
for Fundamental Rights (2013–15), the
National Media and Infocommunications
Authority (2015–16), and the Constitutional
Court of Hungary (2019–2022). She is a
member of the Committee of Experts of the
European Charter for Regional or Minority
Languages, co-editor of the Hungarian
Yearbook of International Law and
European Law, and is currently writing her
PhD in translation studies, focusing on
paraprofessional interpreters at the
International Criminal Court.
